Two torsos emerge from a single joined form, their bodies turned in opposing directions yet inseparably connected. The sculpture explores the hidden counterpart within the self - the identity that complements, challenges or contradicts the one presented to the world. Contrasting anatomies create a dialogue between strength and vulnerability, difference and unity. Alter Ego suggests that identity is never singular, but shaped by the constant presence of another self within.
