Two heads emerge as a closely connected group, each turned towards a different point beyond the sculpture. Their opposing gazes suggest an animated exchange of ideas, opinions and perspectives, while their shared form binds them together. Expressively modelled surfaces preserve the immediacy of the sculpting process. Talking Heads explores communication not only as conversation, but also as the tension between listening, speaking and being understood.
