This life-size male figure of an actor was commissioned for Pieter Toerien’s Theatre on the Bay in Kalk Bay in 2024. Created for a theatrical environment, the sculpture brings the human figure into a setting associated with performance, character and public presentation. The work demonstrates Prinsloo’s ability to produce a recognisable figure for a specific architectural and cultural context.
