The Bondesio Horse is a life-size equestrian sculpture by André Prinsloo, built up in clay from detailed studies of the head, face and tail before final casting. The work brings the natural scale and presence of the horse into sculptural form, balancing anatomical attention with the expressive mass and surface Prinsloo brings to his figurative practice. Progress imagery shows the piece carried through from clay modelling to its final installation.
