This memorial commission combines a life-size figure with a portrait treatment of Shona Fergusson. The pairing allows the subject to be represented both through the presence of the full human body and through the closer psychological focus of portraiture. It was commissioned in 2021 and forms part of Prinsloo’s ongoing work in private memorial sculpture.
