This life-size portrait bust of Mr Haldane was commissioned by his daughter, Emily Haldane, in 2023. Created as a family memorial, the sculpture focuses on the sitter’s likeness and the emotional value of a recognisable portrait. The life-size scale gives the bust a strong physical presence while retaining the intimacy of a private remembrance work.
