Unveilling - 9m Mandela Sculpture - Union Buildings - Pretoria - 2013
The unveilling of the statue took place on The Day of Reconcilliation 16th Dec 2013 by the President of South Africa Mr Jacob Zuma. In his speech he explained the embracing pose and that the open arms was an embracing gesture of reconcilliation.
